Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2016 timeline and updates

We discussed this before..let me stress right now, to EVERYONE, this is my own personal view, I have no basis for it, beyond a hunch. I think those that got the latest PCC letters, are the last batch selected for streamlining in the program, looking at how things have happened, these are my...

Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2016 timeline and updates

Re the processing in batches...judging on how many got the PCC letters, and all at the same time...I would guess the next "batch" for SA and AIP will be processed in October...the letter gives you 60 days to respond..in my case 10th aug to 9th Oct...should imagine nothing can happen before that...

can an canadian citizen file a spouse living in usa illegally?

Umm my best friend (Canadian) is currently trying to get his wife (chinese) of 7 years admitted, their last PR application that was refused..I think that was their 2nd...or 3rd. The main reason for refusal each time was...overstaying a work visa in the USA by 2 weeks (to get married), which...

Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2016 timeline and updates

If you have AIP (approval in principal of the entire application) your application date is well before cut-off as this is given quite a bit into the process, you COULD be in the streamlining but as explained in earlier posts, who gets streamlining or doesn't is up to IRCC.

Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2016 timeline and updates

Here's an interesting "what if" question..... Just one of those things that randomly come into ones brain, and something I hope does not happen to anyone. You apply inland, get your 2 year Open work permit after 4 months, you have been selected for stream-lining (but you don't know it). The...

Scotland <<<<points to flag on profile. I'm working on the OWP being about 110 days average..in your case it should be end of august/beginning of sept (2 more weeks), and mine should be about the 21st sept (4-5 weeks).

Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2016 timeline and updates

Hi ringlands, I'm confused here fella, according to the spreadsheet, ALAM application date is April 4th....yours is May 11th (or have I misread, wouldn't be the first time). I'm watching YOU for my OWP as I'm 3 weeks after you in timeframe and we are both UK and you are an active member of the...

You didn't give anyone false information Maria, I just think in the "excitement" and "buzz" of the streamlining, this important fact was forgotten by applicants. It was never a certainty who would get in the program....fair or not. Also thank you for again clarifying anyone who's application...

    irresponsible spouse/sponsor

Sorry Rob_TO...you are wrong. as above. that's why I suggested keeping the diary, there are ways around the condition 51..it's not ALWAYS automatic. If CIC enforce Condition 51, then by virtue, they believe the marriage was one of convenience (this was why 51 was enacted in the first place, to...

Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2016 timeline and updates

I hate to do this, but I feel I must state it, it was said when the program was implemented straightforward in THEIR (IRCC's) eyes applications would be streamlined. Any applications that has something unusual, or is not just a "rubber-stamp" Spousal application which has no doubts on the...

Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2016 timeline and updates

Educated guess, they have reached the cut-off date for completed applications (june 13th) in regards the SIR program, all these applications would need to start processing now to have a chance of being completed, or be a good way into the process by the end of the year (the end of the program)...

    irresponsible spouse/sponsor

It might be an immigration forum, but if no one minds I will give you one piece of advice. STOP! You and your thoughts are going round and round at about million miles a minute, and as happened with CIC, all you are doing is creating more problems for yourself....not solutions. I have been...

After that phone call with CIC today I'm happy, I had already sent the CSE yesterday anyways. Its just civil servant double talk in the letter.

Okay just off the phone about the PCC request letter, the agent at CIC said they have been getting so many calls about these today (surprise surprise) clarification has been sought, this is now their advice..."these letters are reminder letters, if you have not supplied the documents requested...

Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2016 timeline and updates

Guys, if you go back through the thread...the last bunch who got bulk processed got the SAME document request letter, they just sent CSE in saying it was in the file. I have a feeling this is just IRCC dotting their I's and crossing their T's making sure everything is there prior to processing...

Has anyone actually got a letter saying their file has been transferred? I didn't? I even checked, Mississuaga is still my processing office. I could well believe CPC-V still has the staff with the experience to run the checks etc (from their days being the main processing center) and they...

Better than that.. apply online, swallow the international courier fee AND express processing, and it can be in your hands in 5 working days...all for 217 dollars!!! Yes I'm toying with it...you know..that.."just in case" would hate to get refused for 217 dollars...and could always get a copy...

Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2016 timeline and updates

You keep mentioning this mick, and while the situation described is totally unfair and unjust, there is nothing the 2016 applicants who just happened to be in the right place at the right time through pure chance can do personally about it. I do speak my mind but I think everyone here would...
