Did/does any one ever get updates on weekends?

Yes - lots of times. Weird, I know - but even at 1 AM on Sunday morning.

I would like to share my pr journey with all of u

It was "lost" because in the first weeks of EE people were trying to upload two separate documents (say a diploma and an ECA) into the same slot. If you do that, the second document will bump the first out. You have to combine them into one pdf and then upload the pdf.

    Application Refused-Missing ECA

That is your certification, not your education. If you have a university degree, it has to be assessed. If you went to a technical school outside Canada, that also needs an assessment, and the same thing is true if you have a secondary school degree as your final degree. The problem is the...

    SIN question

It shouldn't affect what you owe - but it needs to be connected to your old SIN to keep an ongoing record of your old taxes. We were told we didn't have to inform Canada Revenue of the change, but be sure to have the employer change it, and then use the new SIN when doing your taxes.

    IMM 5669 HELP NEEDED

I just checked - it is the statutory part. Of course I would fill out the name section, but I believe all they need from you is the answer to the statutory questions and, if they asked for it, a signature. If you feel better doing the whole thing it's up to you, but they have been quite clear...

    IMM 5669 HELP NEEDED

Isn't question 6 the statutory questions? That's what my partner was told to answer, and then the note said they needed an original signature and date as well. It was very specific.

Application refused due to insufficient funds

Yes. Along with medical and criminal checks, it's a factor of admissibility to Canada, not of qualification for a particular program. That's why it happens time and again that people who write in a small amount of money, or even zero funds, still find themselves accumulating the necessary 67...

Application refused due to insufficient funds

    1) He would never get a CEC ITA if the EE software said he was eligible for FSW as well, and 2) the software itself is problematic in that funds are not a qualification for FSW - but they have been made a factor of admissibility for FSW applicants. So the software rightly said he was qualified...

    Application Refused-Missing ECA

Is your academic degree - BA, MBA, MA, whatever - from a Canadian university, and did you get CRS points for your degree? That's the only case in which you do not have to submit an ECA.

Application refused due to insufficient funds

I totally agree. I believe this is one place where CIC's regulations have overstepped their bounds in deciding the criteria by which financial stability are to be assessed. The point of the law is that the applicant should show that s/he will not become a public burden in Canada, by having...

CIC CSE Response Re: Improperly Assessed Medicals

Don't give up hope! August is more than 6 months away! Just submit the new application and wait to see what they do with the old - I think you will make it through in time.

    SIN question

We did it with CoPR - don't have PR cards yet - it was fine. Ditto for OHIP. BUT I just realized what you are saying - we did it with our signed and stamped CoPRs. I think you do need to land first - but I don't know for sure.

    IMM 5669 HELP NEEDED

Also be sure they want the 10-year history. We filled out the whole Schedule A, but later realized they had specifically asked for my partner's statutory questions and signature - we didn't need to do the rest.

    Got refusal what to do?

This is the wrong forum, as it is for people applying through Express Entry for permanent residence in Canada - not visitor visas. The usual reason for rejecting a tourism visa is that the officer did not believe you would return home to Brazil after the 2 months. You have a boyfriend in...

Please help! Issue with Common Law relationship, form IMM5409

I just told you I did - in Slovakia! They were very friendly and helpful. We filled out the form in English, and then appeared in front of them to sign it, and they notarized it. Then we included it with our applications - in your case, you will upload it.

    The Actual Possibility of Immigrating

Come to Canada for university first, and see if it is everything you want it to be. If it is, a post-graduate work permit (PGWP) following graduation will allow you to work for 3 years in Canada, making you eligible for CEC. Even if you change your mind about going back to South Korea to fulfill...

Please help! Issue with Common Law relationship, form IMM5409

Yes. My partner and I had the same situation in Slovakia. We got the Slovak consulate in Vienna to notarize our statement for us, as the Slovak notaries did not want to notarize it in English. There is no way CIC can accept an Albanian translation - call the consulate right away and get it done...

JOb offer Received but it is not LMIA

The job offer won't help you get PR if the employer is not willing to get an LMIA for you - and you should ask if they are willing to do that, as it would make everything faster and simpler. But if they won't or can't, it makes no difference to your application. You can apply for PR under CEC...

    Got refusal what to do?

The issue here is that, when you get PR with an LMIA, your must have an OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT, that, among other very specific requirements, must promise to employ you full-time and permanently for most positions, or full-time and for at least one year for some selected trade occupations, after...
