They wouldn't start BC until they are done with initial review. BC is the last thing they do before issuing visa. If you had provided additional proof long time ago, you should hear any update from them soon..

Dreamsca & Yug, Have you guys talk to your MPs? It shouldn't take this long for no reasons...... If your medical is expired or about to expired, talk to MP and tell them to push ND. In most cases, they would issue visa before med exp date if nothing is holding the file.

Enter your postal code and find out your area MP. Email his office with details of your application and follow up with phone call if you don't hear from them. Once they put a request to ND, it shouldnt take more than 2-3 days to get answer...

In that case, you can live as long as you want considering you have valid visiter visa for india. CHC doesn't like sponsor to leave canada only if he/she is PR. So nothing to worry about.
