Hi PP ND doesn't send out AOR as per their website. so I guess there is no way to know if our file has reached their pile. " Please note that we do not send an Acknowledgement of Receipt for sponsored spouse, partner, and child applications, given that they are processed very quickly."...

September 2011 - Here we go!

don't worry about what eCAS says. My sponsorship was approved 3 weeks ago and it still says "In Process" like yours... I even called CIC regarding this but the poor lady with little training had no answer to my question.

    Immigration photos

Wait for mississauga to give you an answer 1st. Once an officer open ur file, he might want to see those photos in your file before he sends to your visa office. In that case, you will be contacted by email or mail saying what you are missing and you can send them. If they don't care about those...

    Immigration photos

There is a different set of specific photos that you have to send with your application. You could find that in Appendix B of Part 3: The region specific forms. As far as i know, those pictures that you took with you to DMP are only related to medical file... and ones that you sent with your...

September 2011 - Here we go!

I agree with mapledreams, don't be bothered by ecas status too much. Mine sponsorship was approved at Mississauga on Nov 8th and it still just says application received... and no address. Just for fun, I called cic to see what those jokers in call center knows. They told me they are not trained...

Thread for applicants of NEW DELHI 2010!

So true man. 2 weeks of vacation is good but it will be hard to leave a spouse again. :( But I guess if you could go for 3-4 weeks in christmas, it would worth it. As pandapenda said, we are lucky that at least ND's time line is way better than other countries. :)
