CIC will not send any email that your application has been returned, they send back the application only via snail mail and do not notify the same via email. You will need to keep a look at you PO Box. However, be optimistic :)

Yes, 11 year old PCC should be fine. If one has lived in a country for more than 6 months only then PCC has to be obtained from that country. All the best!
