    Ray of hope 122th draw

Just got my 2nd IELTS test result and I can’t wait to share with you all - I got L8.5 / R9 (same as last time) AND W7 / S7 this time!!! I really thought I made a mess in the speaking part and no word could describe my feelings for such a surprise. Now with a couple of clicks my CRS jump to...

How come... I thought UK should be one of the earliest countries to introduce CD tests... after all the full name of BC is British Council :D

    Ray of hope 122th draw

Yes but eventually it will clear. I don’t think the cut-off could remain at 455+ by the end of the year. Seems to me it’s only a matter of time for you 455+ guys.

Thanks! Couldn’t agree more. I took 2 IELTS since May and I did realize my nervousness seems to be the biggest challenge of me getting that 8777. My working language is English (verbal and written), but in both IELTS I screwed up in the Speaking part. After my 2nd attempt I suddenly realized...

Thanks mate. I find it easier on computer too, especially for the reading and writing part. I had 2 attempts since May and I think I just started to get a feeling of what IELTS actually wants. Finger crossed for my upcoming 8 tests haha XD

    Remark Success rate

On IELTS website it states if the new band score is lower than your current one they will not send you new transcript, and you can still use your old one. So there will not be any decreased score, actually.

    WES Timeline/Tracking 2019

It depends. My spouse shared the exact same timeline of mine by 6/03, but his docs were accepted on 6/06 and received report on 6/28. And I did contact WES on 6/17 and received email response & update after another week with report due date.

I guess some coupled candidates have changed their profile to ‘spouse not accompanying’ to boost their scores. - That is what I and my spouse planned to do if the cut-off went higher. (It would be our last choice though.)

Another round of wait has started. Just took my 2nd IELTS and I believe I have screwed up...This time I got too nervous in the speaking section. And now seeing the cut-off staying at 460 ?after a regular bi-weekly draw and with increased ITAs) really fuels my anxiety.... :(

Ray of Hope - 121st Draw

Not in the pool yet.. struggling with IELTS and waiting for ECA. If I can get 8877 in IELTS then my CRS should be 455.

Ray of Hope - 121st Draw

I am having a similar situation here.. Expecting a baby by the end of 2019 and based on my research from CIC website, the only thing we can do now is to prepare POF based on estimated new number of dependents. If you receive an ITA before the baby is born, then you should contact your VO...

    Points Calculation:

If one of you can get CLB9 (IELTS LRWS 8777) before turning 30, and the other gets IELTS 6666, then your CRS should be 464. Same as me and my spouse. Try to use the calculator again, I’m sure this is the precise CRS. ————— Age of 29 - 100 Masters - 126 CLB 9 - 29 x 4 = 116 Additional points...

Ray of Hope - 121st Draw

Hard to say. Only if the draw size increases in the second half year. And if it does, probably at the end of this year or the first a couple of draws next year.
