Yeah with upfront medicals you wouldn’t know until the very end. Sometimes they accept it, sometimes they don’t. A buddy of mine, August 5th applicant, got a re medical request when the rest received PPR emails.
Take a step back and don’t worry. What does your ecas status say? If it says decision made, or in process? Check your MyCIC account too. Now if there’s still no update, check your old emails for any previous responses from IRCC. E.g. if at anytime they requested additional documents (Schedule A)...
When did this friend of yours get his/ her DM/BGIP? I got mine on Saturday. Still awaiting PPR email! Did your friend receive the email today? August 11th
There are some from August 5th who are still waiting. I have a buddy who’s info hasn’t changed as yet. But I’m presuming everyone from August will have it before February!
To calm your nerves I wouldn’t expect until the 18th month mark, but know this that IRCC is striving to get everyone’s PPR...
I think there will be some more BGIPs and DMs later this evening and tomorrow. It was the same with the previous batch. Received DMs on Saturday and Sunday, with PPR emails on Monday and Tuesday!
I doubt it, my AOR date is October 5th, 2016. DM today. August 11, 2016 file received! It’s pretty much based on the officer working on your file! There were some with a similar timeline like mine, who received PPRs on January 8th, 2018
File received: August 11, 2016
AOR: October 5, 2016
Medical: November 9, 2017
DM: January 27, 2018
PPR: Hopefully Monday, January 29th
Will keep you guys posted on the same.
Yeah I know. I’m a Manitoba PNP. Aug 11th applicant. We both received our medicals on the same day, but I’m yet to receive my PPR. None from our province have received as yet. I’ve got another friend August 5th still awaiting PPR
How long does this usually take? And after receiving our passports back with the PR status we still need a document to re-enter Canada? I was under th impression that we can enter with the PR stamp on our passports!
There’s still time for the 18 months processing time. I do not think they’ll push it more than this now. If a few from August received their PPRs, it is still a good sign. Also CIC works in units, and each unit has a phase life. That’s one reason for a few July applicants not receiving PPRs...
I doubt there’s be anything this week, but hopefully there is some good news towards the end of this month and PPRs in the first week of Feb for all pending July and August applicants!
