I submitted a webform to prioritize on 16 july . Received email confirming under process for family reunification on august 6. I then wrote to abu dhabi vo which is our local office. They said file in queue for review. Abu Dhabi is very slow so I really dont know if any of this has helped. Yeah...

We requested for 3 months. And its under process. You need to mention “other” and COVID-19 under your purpose of visit for it to get processed. Otherwise it will just sit there for a long long time. Are you a PR or citizen?

Very kind of you to have shared this as it gives hope to many who are blindly waiting for TRV / child sponsorship etc. It is very hard to be separated from family, especially a baby.

I got the same response on 6th August 21. Been two weeks now with no progress. I guess it now depends on your local VO. And mine is Abu Dhabi which is probably the slowest of all with 400 days’ TRV processing time for god knows why!! Pfft.

From my personal experience, I don't think one's travel history has any impact on the processing time unless there some travel to countries that are flagged for alerts. I have traveled more than 10 countries plus have had 2 schengen visa refusals which I obviously did state on my application...
