It's the same for my son. Applied for travel exemption on July 14th, and received response on August 6th . Since then nothing. Did you hear back from travel exemptions? when was the reply?

You can act as your child's representative without any form if the child is minor because you are an official guardian. You can do the application yourself on behalf of your child.

When did receive email sayin " in process" to the webform? I received it on 6th August.

If you received an email saying in process for family unification , then it is in the priority queue. But the problem is Abu Dhabi's priority queue is similar to the regular queue of other VOs since it is processing many countries.

Nothing yet. Im just waiting to see the response for people who reapplied and have their local vo as Abu Dhabi. Because i dont have any hope if they are going to do the same process of assigning it to local VOs. If this is a centralized process from Canada then yeah I will reapply.

Just pray that they don't assign it back to Abu dhabi :/

Also I would like to add that there is no guarantee that you may receive a decision in time for your travel even if you reapply. They have mentioned that they will respond within 14-30 business days if your application is complete. So you need to be prepared for that.

If you raised a webform and received a response for family unification, I would suggest that you just wait. if not then I would suggest that you reapply as soon as possible by mentioning your exemption status. Raising a webform now may not help since your travel dates are very near. Webform...

Either one would do. It serves the same purpose. And yes, they mean if you have notified them of your status through either one of these methods then you do not need to resubmit the application.

I received the same response on August 6th. No update after that. I do think after this point it depends on your local VO and travel dates.
