Ray Of Hope - 87th Draw

Wow, that was quick, considering that you just got the AoR in mid-Feb. I have heard many horror stories of people being stuck in EE for over a year after getting the ITA. Enjoy the moment, all the best with life in Canada.

Ray Of Hope - 87th Draw

Anytime before the end of the working day in Ottawa, Canada... which I am guessing is 5:00PM EST.

Ray Of Hope - 87th Draw

Hi Maheen, 441 is a good score, you all should get in shortly if, as expected, IRCC accelerates the ITA issuance and the draw frequency. If I have to make a conservative guess, I'd say you guys should have the ITA before June. I wouldn't recommend that your husband applies by himself, who...

Ray Of Hope - 87th Draw

A good Wednesday morning my fellow Canuckland hopefuls. So there's a draw expected today... it will be very scary for lots of people if it doesn't happen. So if it happens, the draw would be happening after almost 2.5 weeks, and with lots of new entrants, H1B visa holders and new and improved...

OINP - HCP - Application Submitted February and March 2018

You're asking the wrong people... I hope you do realize that this thread deals with OINP's Human Capital Priorities stream applicants. You should have better luck here: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/forums/family-class-sponsorship.5/

Ray Of Hope - 87th Draw

The number of ITAs to be issued in 2018 is unknown. However, IRCC aims to welcome around 310,000 immigrants in 2018. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/notices/supplementary-immigration-levels-2018.html

    PNP Ontario open?

361isn't likely to be high enough unfortunately, unless you can speak French or if you have a job offer from a registered Ontario employer. If you have neither, then you would have to increase your CRS in the hope of getting invited. This could include getting a higher degree, getting a higher...

Ray Of Hope - 87th Draw

Indeed , you can expect a lot more people with the extra 600 points in the coming weeks. I think the Q1 2018 OINP applicants' nominations will hit a peak in May/June, which will undoubtedly put upward pressure on the CRS cutoff. However, I think (hope) that it will be more than offset by a...

Ray Of Hope - 87th Draw

It's the magic of the 3-week gap between draws... it always does such wonders. It did so before as well in Dec 2017 when the cutoff rose from 439 to 452. For the March 14th draw, quite a bit of the Nov/Dec 2017 OINP folks were also getting their nominations, contributing to the higher CRS.

    PNP Ontario open?

If it's the HCP you're wanting to apply for, you can't do much unless they give you an invite; that's the NOI. While you wait, try to boost your CRS if you can to increase your chances of getting either the NOI or the direct ITA.

OINP - EE - Human Capital Priorities Stream - Comprehensive Guide

Rest easy buddy... there are people who applied in January 2018 and are still on "Submitted". Give it a month at least and regularly monitor the activity on the OINP HCP immi tracker.

Ray Of Hope - 87th Draw

If the current trends remain, we will not see the CRS come to 435 this year. However, the hope (and the likelihood as well), is that the current trends will not remain, and the IRCC will start getting more aggressive in terms of the numbers of ITAs issued, as well as the frequency of draws. If...

Ray Of Hope - 87th Draw

That is not the correct info buddy. They haven't even started processing the vast majority of OINP applicants who got the NOI in 2018. I don't believe anyone who submitted their application in 2018 has got a nomination so far. As of now, this year, only the people who submitted their OINP...

OINP - HCP - Application Submitted February and March 2018

Okay, seems like there's nothing happening for the 2018 OINP HCP applicants yet (except for one French-speaking dude)... I just hear crickets... Let's hope that IRCC draws today, taking the CRS considerably down and then maybe we'll start seeing some action on our OINP applications.

Ray Of Hope - 87th Draw

A good Wednesday morning hopefuls! To draw or not to draw... that is the question, for the IRCC chaps. If it happens (I hope it does), I see 3,000 ITAs being issued, and the CRS cutoff coming down to 440 (+/-2). That would indeed be happy times. All the best!

    Urgent : WES evaluation query

That is surprising indeed... different standards for different people then. Maybe it had something to do with having degrees from 2 different countries; they assumed that the NZ uni would have taken the burden of assessing the Indian degrees earlier. Or maybe it all boils down to what they've...

    Urgent : WES evaluation query

I understand that you may be eligible for additional points due to two different degrees, that's why I had suggested to call the ECA organization as only they will have the best answer on how they would assess two separate Master's degrees from Pakistan. Based on their feedback on the possible...

Ray Of Hope - 87th Draw

So IRCC pulled a rabbit out a hat by organizing draw # 86 on a Monday... 446 is encouraging, for sure. After this, anything is possible... expect the unexpected. It wouldn't be surprising to me if on Sunday April 1st, IRCC announces another draw, this time of 6,000 ITAs with a CRS cutoff at...

    Urgent : WES evaluation query

As far as I know, each and every degree after High School needs to be evaluated by the designated ECA organization (at least that is the case with WES). So if your highest degree is M. Phil., you would not only need to send the documents for M.Phil. for evaluation, but also for B. Ed, and M. Ed...
