Congrats! Seems to me you submitted your application on Feb 21st. I submitted on 21st Feb. as well and my status just changed to "assessment". Wonder what order they follow to process cases.

My passport is valid till 2024. My original submission was too big so I had to split the scan into two files. I guess this could be the reason.

Just got an email from OINP asking me to resubmit the scan of passport. Although my status still says "submitted" on one-key, I guess the status is not updated in real time.

Has your status changed from "Submitted"? You are under master stream right? My status has not changed since Feb 21st... I am under master stream.

It just said you need to be here for a total 12 months for the past 2 years when submitting your application...

It really depends how much OINP replies on passport to determine your duration of stay in Canada. OINP is not the same as federal immigration program after all. Saying your application will be rejected solely because of this is too exaggerated especially if you don't have a solid case to back...

It's required for master and phd streams

Not all school do that.. UofT just gives Certification of Degree letter in a sealed envelop. As the guide doesn't really say where to get the true certified copy, it's not a bad idea to follow the conventional route.

You need to make a photo copy and ask a qualified lawyer to certify the copy for you. A lot of law firms provide this service in canada.

I can't even load my application, always see system busy message...

What you see may not be what they will see on their end. When I was filling out the form, my birthday field is blank and couldn't be edited. After submitting the application, I can't even open my application.
