I'm in the same boat. I received a mail from IRCC asking me to redo medical before I can travel. I was supposed to travel on monday. Imagine that.

After an arduous 8 months my visa got approved. I was supposed to travel of 26th of April but my medical expired and I've been told to complete a new medical checkup before I can travel. How long is it taking these days for medical to get updated in portal in India?

There are full 4 hotels listed for Toronto. And the booking can be only made via phone. I tried calling and it's not functional. Govt seems totally unprepared for this action.

Try their 022 number. Download an app called auto redial and keep calling until your call gets through. For passport submission, select the option that says to track your application.

Once you send the passport the rest of the process is quite smooth and gets over in a couple of days.

Mail them. Call to their customer support every day until they respond and give you the required details.

Be clear and honest about your condition in your application. Also, submit a good SOP to support your application.

IRCC bit more than it can chew and now it feels like they are chocking.
