That's a drag but you still are in a better position than those still waiting for any update. Just a little more patience. :D

Check the date of the validity. It should be either 1 year after your medical was received by CIC or your passport validity, whichever is earlier.

Oh I see... now that's strange... You only get an update on your tracker once your passports are already being returned. Based from the timeline, you may received your passports today or early next week.

Your date doesn't seem correct. First, you just sent your passport 3rd of March. Second, you mention that tracker has not been activated. Why is there an update in the return mail?

Congrats! This is still very good news though there is a setback. Still, it is better they found it earlier that you finding it either when you received you CoPR (frustration!) or finding the problem when you are doing the landing (more frustrations!)

This is in the assumption that Security and Criminality checks are in the in their estimated timeline. Again, no harm in paying RPRF upfront. We are just realistically telling you the actual scenario right now.

No direct correlation that it will make your application faster. Some who waited for RPRF request even got their PR earlier than those paying upfront. There are several factors that have more significant effect that paying RPRF upfront like Security and Criminality.

For what I understood, it will apply to people who will apply Citizenship after June 2015. That's why many people I know who are eligible for citizenship hurried to their applications done. That's also what I am hoping that my work permit stay will also count but it won't, sadly. You'll never...

Yeah, nothings better than drinking beer in a cold day and hearing the sound of the watefalls. I don't hear that often. I've been looking at the forum since I did my work permit last 2012. I still haven't stop looking. Probably might once I get my citizenship 4 years from now. :P
