Guys - I got a call from IRCC today. 15 mins of interview; confirmation of address,job etc. I hear this means they will issue COPR soon? What is the timeline in regards to this? How long do I need to wait after this call? Any clue? AOR May 21st Inland CEC

Folks... update on my end is: Called IRCC today and the rep said application is approved as of nov 13th. They should send out the log in credentials for the CIC PR portal soon... not sure what 'soon' means? Looks like a lot of people here are stuck with approved status. AOR: May 21 Inland, CEC...

I think, you should deposit your cash into your primary account. It will make your case stronger. 1000 is not enough as they want to see if you run into financial problems you still should have extra money to support your stay. So, i'd say deposit the cash. Good Luck!

You Just need to send your supporting documents(bank statement;as you cant sponser them) alongwith your university's official invitation. Thats what My brother did when he invited my mother to canada. It was successful. Usually they dont reject visas for convocation.
