Interesting. What kind of visa is it?

Anyway, it is good and bad. Bad - because you close relatives are in Canada. Good- because they are on proper visas and not illigaly. Bad- becuase CIC will suspect you will follow your brother steps and now when he is here - you even could have some help.

So, if I am in your place I would not go into Canada 2 months before the study starts. As I said 2, max 3, weeks. Then your wish to visit with relatives looks genuine.

Right. Thanks a lot.

by the way, I did mention everything in my appication. Who is there. With whom I'm going to live and everything

A! she has a multiple entries visa for 5 years! Thanks.

Still do not go for 2 months. My advice, but it should be your decision. :)

Thanks a lot :) I will have a good thought on this now

No I havent.

Moreover, Guys I just contacted my university
VIA email. They told me that You are eligible and free to enter toronto whenever you want. (I told them I want to plan my travel in march) I have this by the university in written. I shall go in the second week of march with the university's letter which states I am eligible to travel. Moreover, The VAC in my country also told me today that I can go, but I just need to confirm from my university, So I did.

You are missing something. The final decision will be made at POE by the officer. Neither by the college nor by VO. They tell you the truth but the devil is in details:

You MAY go now; however, the final decision will be made at POE by the officer. He will not rely on what the college and VOP told you.

And please tell us here on the forum how it went, what questions were asked at POE and what was the result. :)

Quoting and underlining the bold as that is important to understand.

not at all, u have got the visa to enter but the stay in canada u need study permit which is issued by Immigration officer, I suggest u if u want to go earlier pay a semester fee atleast then u can enter easily 4 to 6 weeks prior to ur classes, but i recommend 4 weeks
