I don't think there's anything to worry about. I'm in the same boat, CEC inland with AOR Jan 6th.

AOR in January 2017 - Connect Here!

Congratulations! I don't think there is anything to worry about! In the contrary, I think it's an excellent sign, for you especially and for all CEC inland applicants who applied in January generally. Have you added your case in the tracker? If not please register since right now you're the...

Express Entry - e-APR Submitted in November 2016

Check your ITA; The actual letter that you were invited under, it should be at bottom of your express entry profile for which you received the invitation. It will notify you under what stream you were invited under. It will say PNP but it might also indicate whether it's under CEC, FSW or FST...

Proof of Means of Financial Support - Already working in Canada

That's an excellent question, I'm struggling to find it too. Here are the laws and regulations for the FSW stream: http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/page-16.html#docCont The only thing I can find that references the funds is:

Proof of Means of Financial Support - Already working in Canada

I saw from a post you made on Feb 8th (http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/54th-draw-3664-ita447-points-8-feb2017-t473580.0.html;msg5763863#msg5763863) that you do not meet the requirements for CEC. You only meet the requirement for FSW. The only way possible that you...

Proof of Means of Financial Support - Already working in Canada

What stream were you invited under? Your ITA will outright say it: CEC, FSW, FST, PNP.. etc. If you were invited as a part of CEC, which is very likely since you are working in Canada, simply reduce the value of the proof of funds to 0 and the place holder for the document will disappear...

    Post ITA job change HELP!!

Don't add the work experience in the "Work History" section of the application like ramu_rokey suggested, but you need to add it to the personal history section. Also in the "Work History" section remove the check mark for this is my current job and put the end date. The one thing I'm not...

    Post all attorney questions here

Additionally having a representative handle your file is a pain the as* when it comes to checking updates and other things like that. All emails go to the representative and some representative's don't give you access to your mycic profile (I heard somewhere that they can't since they use a...

AOR in January 2017 - Connect Here!

Many people that reside in Canada and the US are in the same boat, me included. It's perfectly normal. Check out other people's timelines in the tracker: https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/consolidated-e-apr-tracker-express-entry-permanent-residency-application You can easily filter by...

Express Entry - e-APR submitted in December 2016

Hey g126, Harsat has mentioned that the application cancellation was for a New Zealand PCC not an Australian one. A consent form is required for NZ: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/new-zealand.asp

AOR in January 2017 - Connect Here!

I don't think ECAS maps over to Express Entry. MYCIC updates are the new way of checking the status of your application. Paper based application can now merge their ECAS to their MYCIC accounts. As they are moving away from the dinosaur that is the ECAS system.

OINP/ Ontario PNP sent in Jan 2016, Lets connect Here

Hey, OINP has multiple streams, each with their own set of requirements. From your comment I understand that your company probably applied via the OINP Job Offer stream. Here is the link for the application information: http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPWORKERS.html Basically...

OINP - Employer Job Pre-screening 2015/2016 Applicant Timeline

So the company is paying all of the legal fees, usually the contract will outline when the payments should be made. Perhaps they are in the right and they need to payment to proceed with the nomination application. Again it should be something the legal team from your company or your boss should...

OINP - Employer Job Pre-screening 2015/2016 Applicant Timeline

Well the first question would be: what was the contract that you signed with them entail? Are you only getting them to do the job pre-screening or are they filing your application in it's entirety (Pre-screening, Nomination and PR)? The second question is: did you pay them fully for the job...

AOR in January 2017 - Connect Here!

Hello everyone, About a month ago I had created a google spreadsheet and form thinking that it's better than the Immitracker, but it clearly is not. It was evident from the get-go that it's not to par and people preferred the tracker, but it kinda slipped my mind. I have been slightly...

AOR in January 2017 - Connect Here!

I too ordered my GCMS notes. I submitted the online application yesterday. Exactly a month and 2 hours after receiving the AOR. I understand that it's probably useless since I'm CEC inland with zero updates thus far, but I felt like I could spare $5 for the sake of sanity. ;D
