I really doubt if you can change the super visa application to visitor. Even if you try to do that, it may potentially lead to a visa refusal. If they have requested for insurance which means it is almost approved. So it is a good idea to get the insurance for one year and submit it.

It is always a good idea to notarize the invitation letter. For "Purpose of travel", you can basically produce any documents like flight tickets, documents that shows ties to your home country, etc.

Hi, I am a PR in Canada and my wife is a PR. We want to apply super visa for my in-laws. But my wife is not working. I am making enough to sponsor them and meet the LICO. I am wondering if I can sponser my in-laws or only my wife can do? Please clarify. Thanks

Hello, Has anyone applied for visitor visa in the Canadian Consulate in NY recently? I know long back (until 2010 I think) we can just walk-in with the applicaion and all the documents and get the visa stampled on the same day (or in just few days). Then at one point they were not accepting...

It took me less than two weeks to get the visa stampled. I sent the application on June 11th and I got the passport back on June 25th.

Has anyone applied for a TRV (For valid wprk permit holders) from within Canada this month? I just applied last week and I have future travel plans. Just trying to understand the processing time. CIC website says 16 days.
