Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage 2020-2021

Before xmas break Jan 2019 applicants got few responses. I'm guessing it would take 6 more months which is June 2021 to hear something regarding AORs for applicants since July 2019 and eventually 2020 applicants. As we know from previous cases that it takes atleast a year for medicals after...

Buying house on Workpermit with 5% downpayment?

It is not red alert bad to be so worried! I'm with the right wing government with whatever policies they have as it is based on the majority's interest. People who choose quebec should be aware of this reality and CHOOSE to adapt to it. I think everyone who wish to move to quebec should make an...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

My major concern is the wait time of 2 years for CITIZENSHIP eligibility after we get PRs. They should make it ZERO days for QSWP applicants as we spent so many years paying taxes through this PR process. We should be automatically eligible when we get the PR card in hand.

Also depends if people who are losing jobs really own homes or even if they do, are they small condos and with multiple income families. Guys! I wondered about the same a few times and then realized we chose QSWP while being fully aware of the time taken to process is way more than EE. So talking about the faireness is just a moot point IMO. Also EE requires strong profiles with 470 points and i think it is not possible for all...

    Mon Projet Quebec for Immigration

Go through some of other threads and you will get bunch of information why you shouldn't consider Quebec immigration. But if you fancy a 3-7 year emotionally challenged adventure of waiting and complaining over online forums then you can consider it. Good luck. PS: Sorry to assume your name to...

I did not bother about the delay assuming that the letter can be used where WP is required until new WP is approved. I read on the same thread that this letter can be used with your expired RAMQ for emergency medical purposes and if you have employer health insurance that is valid then even better.

The cabinet of the Minister of Immigration, Nadine Girault, denies these assertions, showing that the quotas are not reached. “Quebec has never asked the federal government to stop processing files. On the contrary, for several months, [Immigration Canada] has been asked to speed up the...

Good explanation! But just because the borders are closed and there is no way for new immigrants to enter canada unless PR is approved, It only makes sense to process inland applications just to clear the clog and as soon as the borders open outland applications can be processed in a breeze...

Quebec providing this facility aswell to the companies for accessing talent directly from the pool. I think its like provincial nomination in other provinces. https://www.cicnews.com/2020/11/quebec-launches-direct-employer-immigrant-recruitment-portal-1116288.html

Email. It is useless and the letter itself says it cannot be used for anything related to the processing. :D The only confirmation it gives is that the package reached them, which CANADA POST did months ago :D
