2016 draws - what can we expect?

AFAIK there have been no specifics on EE draws for 2016 etc by CIC. One can assume things wont change much, in the initial few months atleast. But again, this is speculation. Hopefully if CIC publishes an end of the year report, like their half year report, that might give us some clues on what...

    20th Draw - Realistic expectations?

Liberals have promised to bring in 25,000 Syrian refugees by end of this year apparently. Wonder if that will have a bearing on Express Entry for the rest of the year. Getting 25,000 refugees in less than 2 months seems to be a steep target...

Married but when check no "Is your spouse/common-law partner coming with you?"

Seconded. Few points drop for two PRs is a small price to pay as compared to running around trying to sponsor your spouse later. However CIC might have tweaked the system in such a way that any drop in points for couples could be covered with spouse's overall qualifications covering language and...

    20th Draw - Realistic expectations?

Trudeau govt swearing in on Nov 4 (tmrw). So the next draw, possibly on Nov 6, would be under the new govt and new Immigration minister. Here's hoping that a) The 20th draw happens on the Nov 6 b) The scores drop back to mid 400s or lower!

Fair point. EE invitation numbers might go up once the pre-EE backlog starts getting cleared.

    Need Expert Advice..

Seconded. Also the VO states he is not finding much information about your company from a search using open sources. Try and get all necessary documents to prove the company is legit and your employment there is as per rules. If you have everything, then you might not need a lawyer at this stage.

    20th Draw - Realistic expectations?

No I get it. It is arbitrary. We can all only guess on how things will play out in the future. My point is with more and more people becoming aware of express entry, the number of EE applications can be expected to increase. In that scenario I wonder what reason would CIC have to ever drop the...

    My PCC experience

No I plan to do it after ITA only. Esp. since after the last draw the chances of getting an ITA soon are not so clear. I was just curious about the Bangalore PCC process. Being able to apply for the PCC without an ITA just gives us some more flexibility.

    20th Draw - Realistic expectations?

At 66 you are ineligible and can't proceed further. At 449 you can create a profile and be left in limbo. If 450 is a cutoff, maybe CIC should mention it.
