URGENT: Dependent (Canadian citizen) not mentioned on COPR

Hello all. Just received my COPR and passport back. Under dependants, mentions the spouse, but not our son that was born here and is Canadian citizen. I had sent his birth certificate and Canadian passport via CSE at the time. I'm sure CIC received that CSE, as confirmed by an agent over...

I used passport for my medicals. I'm not sure if it's a must. You can call the doctor's office and ask in advance.

    Reasons for Rejection

You've passed eligibility, so that's the good news. Your travel dates and residential addresses are for background check purposes, so I would advise that your correct these mistakes by sending a CSE and explaining them.

Typically around 5 months. 80% of applications are finalized by the end of 6th month.

Is it worth giving IELTS again for my case?

I would check is the cut-off score has ever been between 461-464. I'm doubtful if it's worth it.

Not at all, 4 month is very very normal. You don't need to do anything. Even if you call or send CSE, you'll get the typical response that your application is within normal processing time.

That's weird because your spouse definitely needs to do medicals (unless already PR or Canadian). From what I've seen on this forum, after you add a new family member, your myCIC account updates (after like a month) and a relevant place shows up in your account that you can upload the new...

Sometimes that means a PPR is around the corner. Don't get your hopes too high though, there's been more than a few exceptions.

I don't mean to scare you, but if they proceed with the misrepresentation charges, it won't matter if your CRS changes or not. Misrepresentation can jeopardize your application and admission to Canada. However, on the bright side, companies closing is not unusual, and if your work experience...

Did you send the email directly to VO or via a CSE? I suggest that you call CIC and confirm that LVO has received your email and ask for further instructions.

Passports to CPC Ottawa - July 2016

You have to land to officially become permanent resident of Canada. For this, if you're inland applicant, you can either go to a port of entry and leave Canada and re-enter, or make an appointment for doing the landing formalities at a CIC office (inland landing). Either way, you're not PR until...

    Thank you >>>>>>>>> Legalfalcon <<<<<<<<<<<

Hello LegalFalcon I'm just received PPR, but my status expires in 10 days. My passport probably won't be returned to me to land before the expiry. What are my options? Can I land shortly after expiry of my status?

Hello Seniors I've just received PPR email, but my status expires in August 1st. The earliest I can land is probably August 15th. Do I need to apply for WP or can I land without a valid current status?

Thanks for the reply. About the spouse's situation, in my understanding PGWP takes longer than 90 days, which means she can't apply within the 90 days limit. What's to be done now?

Hello Seniors I have applied under EE and my application is stuck in security checks. My study permit expires on Aug 01, but I will graduate before that. My questions: 1) When do I HAVE TO apply for PGWP? (given that I'd like to wait for PR and not waste money) 2) My wife (dependent) was...
