sharuu, u r QSW stream, rite? do u have that "priority" thing on ur CSQ? the guy who just got ppr (submitted in november 2011), actually had priority on his CSQ, i wonder if that's the reason his case got approved so fast.

guy submitted in feb 2012, and ppr on early may, and did landing last week

besides, we both know that cic don't do thing based on "first come, first serve" >:( one guy, who mailed his application to sydney in 2012, already landed last month, all i could say was WTF!!!

it is really on the edge,,, some ppl got it back in 2 weeks, but most ppl got it back in one month, so,,,,,, also, depends on where u live i am not sure, but i think u should check detroit website, to see if u can hand in ur passport in person, and get it back within the same day, just like...

i like ur attitude, cheer up! lol by the way, i think if they go background check, they will actually email u letting u know that. and when it is finished, they will also let u know. i know this from one of my friend. and his background check lasted only 1 month, which was shorter than average.

i also have "we start processing ur application XXXXXX". i don't know wut exactly u should do, but i think u need to do something, to add that 3rd sentence in ur ecas. i think showing "in process" means one step ahead.

u should be "in process" for long time....... so there r only 2 sentences in ur ecas? like my case, i have 3 sentences

i think this address appearing thing is just routine, as we all transferred to ottawa, now our applications r all being processed the ottawa way, which means the address has to be shown. i guess buffalo ppl were too lazy, or busy to input our address.

in ur case, probably, detroit will issue ur visa

can't remember, but use the shorter one! actually, if u fill the form in computer, u will see that there is not enough space for the other one, u have to use the shorter one
