we are on the same boat, I sent a request on May 14, also sent 3 reminders, still no reply. I'll wait till friday, if not, ill send my passport to canada thru my representative. We emailed ottawa yest that if we will not received any reply till friday, we'll go ahead send my passport to ottawa.

so my representative sent an email again today to ottawa. If we will not be hearing from them this week,we'll send my passport in friday.

Yes, im considering that option, I just have to talk to my rep. But we have to send a cancellation email to cpp ottawa right? I wonder how long will they reply again to confirm the cancellation. Who knows, maybe she's back in Canada now enjoying the close-to-summer breeze. :D

So I went to the embassy today in Manila, no luck for me :( they don't accept walk ins even to drop off your passport. So no choicr but to wait, I guess.

yes, I agree, it's really frustrating especially that I just found out that there's a courier here after all that can send my passport to Canada, I could have sent it to my representative's address. I never thought that this would take this long, ive too much regret of sending that request too...

yes, ashra. cant wait for monday to come. but tomorrow im going to canadian embassy manila and see if they can stamp my passport and print my visa without cpp ottawa's email. hopefully theyll have mercy on me. :D

Hi Ashra, My rep sent a reminder last May 30, so yeah, I feel like it's gonna be our week next week,(fingers crossed), coz it's gonna be my 30th day on the 14th since we emailed the request. My 60days deadline for the submission of passport is coming close too. I hope it's not gonna happen to me...

Hi guys, i just got approved of my permanent resisency application in canada,but i requested to have my visa printed and passport stamped in Canadian Embassy Manila. Does anybody know how many days or weeks do they return the passport with visa? thanks

It's my 23rd day and the wait is really killing me now. I'm thinking of sending my passport to Ottawa next week instead.

20th day today since I emailed the request, no news yet :(

I had my representative update my residential address as soon as I got back in my home country where I did my medicals too.

Thanks GHD123. I just talked to my rep and she advised to wait another week and she'll email ottawa today for follow up. I I am leaning to that side too, to just continue what we had started. :)

yes I do have a representative in canada, so ill send my passport to her and she'll be the one to send it to ottawa. So it should be ok, eh?
