They didnt tell my MP anything about security check, my MP forwarded me the mail from them which says "Applicant file is in progress and we cant give any timeline, we don't need any additional documents for now but will contact applicant if we do so"

I did but no positive response, told my MP the file is in progress and don't need any additional documents for now. Contacting CIC is a waste of time, they don't know more than us, Ordered notes which say Security hasn't started yet.

yeah I am going through the same process. Wait is killing me, so many things are stagnant as they are dependent on my P.R. wondering why did they ask for Resume or details about the Job? Didn't you have an Open work permit? Did u apply for Bridging open work permit?

Congratulation. Please share ur experiences. Were you inland, single Provincial nominee applicant? Did they ask you to submit additional documents? how many times u extended ur W.P? Did u change ur province? job during the process? Contacted local MP? and anything which helped a bit? Congrats...

I did, and a month ago he got the reply from CIC that we cant give a timeline and applicant file is in progress. Thats all.

I said some applicants i know are waiting from 30 months not me. Mine will be 21 months at the end of July. I do not know any reason at all, no addition. I am a single Inland applicant. In Canada from 6 years now, ddin't travel much either.

Pakistan and all my other Pakistani friends have got the PR. Its too early to go for mandamus right now. There are quite a few people waiting from 30 months.

What Documents?

Even in the express entry as the processing time is 6 months. One of my friends applied via express entry after 6 months of applying via pnp, his pnp background check is still in process but got passport request from express entry last friday.

I m from Oct too. Whats ur timeline? and any progress after the medical?
