My file is also in Sydney and ECAS is in IP. I asked an agent last week about the location of file and DM status and she told me that SYdney and Ottawa share the application load and sometimes SYDNEY can also make DM. I am surprised but I believe that would not happen in regular basis.

The best way would be to call CIC call centre and verify the info. Or you can also request for GCMS notes, but it takes a month to come to you after you request . Hope it helps.

Got RPRF Request today. Paid and send receipt at CIO-Cost-Recovery@cic.gc.ca but, do I need to post as well? And, do they reply you back after sending the receipt in email?

Congrats...That means CIO is doing all the processing..is Ottawa gonna just approve and request for PPR? General trend shows that after IP, it takes a month or two, so you are in the doorstep of PPR :)
