Hi! Can someone shed a light on how long passport has to be valid AFTER approval? My husbands passport expires in march 2020. It’s been almost 3 months since AOR. So if we get a confirmation after 6 months, his passport will be still valid for 7,5 months. Is it enough or should we have it changed?

I dont know if it is very recent, but I noticed required funds were recalculated on the CIC website. If before I needed 23 181 CAD for a family of 4, now it says 23 542 CAD. Be careful that your funds are not below the new minimum!!

I’m sure you can add child later once you receive passport. Maybe remove child info to be able to proceed with application and mention it in LOE.

No need to wait for 6 months. You can apply as soon as you have enough funds and are able to proof where it comes from

Does anyone know if I could go back and modify info in the application after submission? I want to see a list of documents but my daughters passport will be ready only at the and of January...can I enter whatever info and then go back and modify passport info once received?

Hi! Im filling out post ITA personal history section and stuck with homemaker vs unemployed. Dont all unemployed people become homemakers? Also regarding kids section - what languages do the speak- my daughter is 1 week old, do i select neither since she doesn't speak?
