Yesterday I sent an email asking about the status of my criminality check (I got some concerns) and received an auto generated response that since my application is still within processing time and they will contact me if they need something.

I got french citizenship last year, but my application is processed by my country of birth which is Russia, so who knows:)

Usual processing time for express entry application is 6 months or less, unless you are marked for Security Screening which takes additional 3-8 months. Do you know why your application takes this long?
