"In process" was discussed here in the form before. Contrary to CIC, it does not mean that the file is transferred to the local office! It used to be, but not anymore. I called CIC a week ago and the agent told me that mine is not transferred yet, although it appears "In process"!

But the AOR is probably sent by the central office not the local one! If that is true, then it is a sign whether or not the Vancouver office has gone faster!

Some offices in the east are having very short period between receiving the application to the test. Some applicants from October 2013 had their tests! Have you heard of such new trend in Vancouver? Or do you expect that might happen?!

I second what Ramsfe wrote. I would write on the application the name I have on the PR card, and I will write a letter to explain the case in the simplest possible way.

I have the same issue. My landing paper and PR card show the name missing letters. I asked CIC about that some time ago, and they said on my records on their system my name is complete. So write your name complete as it was when you applied for immigration, regardless of how it appears on the PR...

I have been trying to seek info on this regard. Most people here are from the east. I just applied in October. Can you share your timeline with us?

I sent the sealed envelop (that is supposed to go to CIC as per CELPIP) as it is, and the application was accepted and it is in process.

I am not a lawyer, but I do not see a problem, whether you were charged by an offense or not! When you apply for citizenship, you do not include pages from your passport other than the biographical pages. Later on, during the citizenship test you bring your passport. Just, make sure you include...

If you can obtain such a letter, that could be useful. However, if it is a hassle I would not bother. Good luck!
