Got email yesterday around 6pm for spouse ready for visa.. Got original PPR request on 28th October 2015. My passport reached Ottawa on 2nd Nov but still have not gotten it back.

Same thing happened to me Friday Oct 24th.. on Oct 28th i got PPR.. hopefully PPR for u in next 2 days.. they seemed to do a batch processing as i believe around 12-15 people got PPR that night

The scenario does seem highly unlikely.. however, i have a friend who applied for EE on 5th August 2015 and got his PPR first week of October. Took him overall less than 2.5 months from applying till he completed landing... and i thought that was quite fast lol

Have lived in Canada (2001-5, 2012 till now) for 8 years, 5.5 years as international studemt.. Passport already sent for COPR.

I got 5 lines around 20 Aug then got RPRF on Sep 10th.. then on Oct 24 it changed to Decision Made.. on Oct 28th got PPR
