hello... can anyone confirm if GED diploma is valid for applying in Canadian immigration? If so, does it need to be assessed (ECA) with WES? Or do you send the GED diploma and transcript as it is? GED diploma is equivalent to Canadian high school which can be used for college application or job...

Yes there are interviews - its basically to know what you and your family needs.

All details are in the website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/atlantic/needs.asp - depends if you are in inside/outside Canada accordingly you inquire with them. It is free so there is no harm in asking any of them. It will take 2-4 working days to get the settlement plan.
