You're very lucky! :) So your friend applied a day later and he still doesn't have his? It's crazy how things vary from case to case.

Yeah, it is a little frustrating to think that after so much wait we have yet to go through the federal process. I wasn't expecting PNP to be so tedious.

Please keep posting as you get your certifcate, and also when you applied :)... Sounds like end of Feb is the time to watch!

April 22nd! Handed it in personally. Hopefully this means that I will be getting mine in the next few weeks :)

No they didn't say... I am guessing they want to keep the numbers confidential until they make the official posting on the website

Ok, so I called again and finally talked to someone that was more helpful than anyone I have talked to so far. She said that even though the nomination quota has not been announced yet on the website, they have received the quota for 2014 already so they are issuing certificates as we speak...

Only about a thousand times! :( Same deal, they didnt get to it on time, and it has been approved, but cant issue the certificate until they get the quota for 2014

Also, does anyone know when they started issuing certificates last year? I know there was a backlog for 2012 as well since they reached their quota in the fall of 2012.

How did you ask for your officer exactly the time you got through? Word by word so I can try again :P

I am under the master's graduate stream. The only reason why I don't apply through CEC is because I don't wanna lose the $1500 fee. I can't afford that.

It totally depends on the officer. Not to brag, but I also have a good job, had a good IELTS score, sent all my documents asap, applied April 2013... And I am still waiting. Also, I tried asking for my officer when I called and the receptionist told me she couldn't pass the call.

I'd rather not say in a public forum... How did you get a hold of your officer. Everytime I call I only get to talk to a receptionist. Do you ask for the officer and they direct the call to him/her?

In my case it would be 9-10 months >:(
