I received the medical request after applying for CSQ (CSQ will not be ready for months by the way). You need a letter from IRCC asking you to send an undertaking to MIFI (MIFI needs that letter from IRCC to process the CSQ)

If you stated in the forms that you intend to live in Quebec, you need to submit an undertaking (forms and money) to MIFI in order to get the CSQ, this will take 4 or 5 months maybe Details here...

Hi, (Outland common-law application) Does the IRCC waits for the CSQ before doing the background check or the application continues normal processing? We did the medicals and wondering if the application processing is completely halted until CSQ is issued.
