Thanks everyone. We appreciate it. @Behopeful - you are right. As common-law we were screwed from the beginning. As soon as hubby was called in for the interview the officer told him common-law is a very hard visa to get and if he had just applied as married we wouldnt be going through all of...

Hey everyone, I finally (sort of) have my update. After weeks of sending CSE's to POS and several emails with my MP, AND finally getting the notes I ordered after the interview - we got news our application is refused. Notes stated that VO emailed us AND sent a letter to us at home on October...

Hey everyone, I have been getting a few private messages lately asking for the down-low on what's been going on. You all know as much as I do. I am so f*cking angry, disgusted and annoyed with this office I cannot even begin. I promise I'm not keeping my approval/denial from you - I have no...

Tell me about it. I am trying very hard to keep my cool and live by the "if you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all" rule but they are pushing it.

Sorry to hear this. I think you are right - marrying now won't help you. Because you applied as a conjugal partner, they will process your application as such. Marrying and being processed as married would likely make them reject your application and tell you to reapply. To be completely honest...

lol. No landing yet. No request for medicals or PPR or nothing. So stressful. I'm so upset.. I can't believe the VO said exactly what I wanted "I know your relationship is genuine" and then ruined it by throwing in a "BUT..." and then bringing up some nonsense. So instead of feeling good - I...

Hello, Nobody can be sure about your file - especially at POS where they seem to make silly decisions sometimes. I thought for 100% sure I would not get an interview until after I waited 14 months and found out we were waiting in line for an interview and our case was simple (no previous...

Hello, No, not everyone gets an interview. Interview is usually only if the officer has questions to see if your relationship is genuine or if you meet the criteria to be granted the type of visa you applied for. In your case, conjugal visa is a very hard one to get because many officers say...

Welcome to the forum! Can I be nosey and ask why you applied as a conjugal partner instead of married or common-law? From what I've heard, conjugal is for people who absolutely cannot marry for reasons of persecution/immigration. I've never seen one of these cases on this thread, so just curious. :)

Hey all, As I begin studyig again after our interview, I wont be on here as much until we hear back from Pos about our outcome. Does anyone want to take over the speadsheet for the next couple weeks at least? I will check in over the next couple weeks butI have a giant exam in a few weeks so...

GCMS notes - tracking number not received

You never get a second tracking number. The "temporary" tracking number is in case there was an error with what you submitted, etc you could call them ASAP and say "my temp tracking number is and I forgot to..." or whatever. I have ordered notes about 5 times and you never get a permanent...

Decision made on e-cas after you have sent passport simply means they have issued the visa and that you should be expecting your passport back with visa inside soon. It's a good sign. They won't "contact you" if you've already gotten PPR and sent passport and return envelope for passport... you...
