Hey guys I got good news. My husband passport have been sent out last night to him. So we r totally excited he will get it on Tuesday. Because Monday is Diwali in Guyana, but his address haven't change to my address here in Canada. I also check the weight of the package and its 3lbs so I am guessing they r sending back all our documents. Maybe once he is here they will change the address. :)

Great News!!!

here is my story. One year ago my boyfriend who I have been with for approx. 2 and half years was ordered to leave Canada, unfortunately he did not leave. One year later he was picked up by Toronto police while riding his scoter (on oct 14, 2013), they then asked for his ID which he presented and was told their is a warrant out for his arrest by Immigration Canada. (he has no criminal record and was told this by immigration and the metro police. He was then placed in Immigration Holding Centre at Rexdale , unfortunately I was not able to come up with bond money. I then cooperated with his deportation officer and followed all procedures for his deportation (I purchased his one way ticket back to Guyana) He is now gone, he left Oct 24, 2013. My boyfriend were planning to get marry and was just awaiting his divorce papers to take affect. (which is still being process and should be cleared up by next month). After his divorce which will take approx. 2 months to become official I will be going to Guyana (I to was born there but have been Canadian Citizen for over 40 years). After our marriage which will be in April of next year 2014 I want to sponsor him to Canada. I've been educating myself with this process and understand a fair amount of information mentioned. I know he has to apply for ARC and the cost is $400.00 he did pay his own ticket so there will be no fee to pay back Canada. My question is what are my chances for his return to Canada, at that time he will be my husband I have so much proof of our relationship before and after marriage. Can he apply for the ARC before the one year ban or does he do that during the sponsorship process. Again my husband to be has no criminal record he just didn't go back when he was order too and after being detained he had no choice but to return to his homeland. Can someone help me please with some answers.

Also wondering : if he would have to to go Port of Spain Office for all this or is there one in Guyana ??????

I responded to your private message (which was the same as this post). You will find your answer there. Good luck :)

@brownbeauty and Dadzin, congrats!

Back to my study dungeon.

I know how you feel and can relate to youu.. hubby has been gone 2 months now on a work related trip so all my contact depends on him and calling is expensive in the interior so I get a call every couple days which has gotten unbearable. Keep occupied or you'll insane like me lol.

Thanks KIAB, sometimes when the situation is out of our control we just have to have faith. Thank goodness we didn't had to do a long distance relationship with a 7 hrs time difference.

Hello and good evening to all!

I am just quickly dropping in to say HI or as my daughter says now "hewwo"!!!

Hope all is well. Life is great. Hubby is asleep beside me snoring away! Not sure if I missed the snoring but well... I'm just enjoying everything about him!

My observations is that POS calls for PP pick up on Tuesdays and seems to send return PP's of Thursdays. Brown beauty welcome and congrats! Can't wait to hear the landing story!

Needhimback... Welcome! Get everything organized for your app! You will be together again. My husband had an exclusion order as well. He came to Canada originally on a work permit and stayed from 2008 to 2012. He turned himself in to CBSA and confirmed departure. He was never held my CBSA and stayed 1 month after turning himself in. He left Sept. 2012 and we had PP request before his exclusion order was up in Sept 2013. W didn't require an ARC and his PP was returned after his exclusion order ended. Don't worry too much about the ARC. We didn't get asked for an interview either. The likelihood of him returning is very great! Prepare a good application and all will work out! Let me know if you have questions. As well, you may want to look into providing an RCMP clearance for hubby because he has been to Canada for greater than 6 months. Some people include it to save time (takes 20 weeks to receive) and that time can be added onto to processing times. We were NOT asked for it but I ordered it just in case and ive been told we were not likely asked for this because my husband has a very rare name which means no one else has a similar name and nothing would show for background checks (if that makes sense). It has to be fairly recent and received with 3 months of completion. My husband did ink prints in Trinidad and I sent it off from Canada. Again ask your questions if you have any! How did your parter originally come to Canada? Visitor? Refugee? Work permit?

Dadzin.... CONGRATS! Did you end up dropping PP off at the embassy?

Hi to everyone else... FAD, louisfam, cdnandtrini, kiab, doc, ruby, can-vinc (hope the elbow heals) and all the jam fam and anyone I missed.... I'm not as up to date with the forum anymore, forgive me! Goodnight!

I would like to wish everyone a quick final decision so they can head onto meet their love ones. As you guys can see I am new to this forum, still trying to find my way around on here and would really appreciate some help with the way it works.

@Bellaqas
I don't think you have anything to worry about bc once they have requested ARC and now a decision is made, that means they are satisfied with your relationship. I would be monitoring ur email very closely bc they will be requesting ur PPR...that's why they say on ecas that their office will be in contact with you...this is good new to me!!!

Good morning everyone ;D

I hope you're all doing well.
We're still monitoring closely, praying for more ppr's.
Still waiting for @missd ppr @dazdins ppr @ms ruby, @louisfam so excited for you and waiting for your landing story:-) and sending positive thoughts to so many others.
Mr.mill says he wants you all to land soon so we can have our burning ceremony of immigration papers...lol!
Any way, sorry if I've missed anyone...I'm praying for the reunification of families...its very important!!!

To my Kingston families, im Jamaican by origin so your always in my heart!

I've never seen it acceptd anywhere. When I go to TnT I usually travel with some US dollars and then stop at an ATM as soon as I get in. He can use one right at the author to get TT dollars
