    Does it sound sketchy?

In my application I am writing that I came to Canada in 2011 to live with my gf, and also cause I would have a better chance to find a job in person. In a few places actually, and also in a letter of support from a frined of us, she stated that I came to Canada so I could have looked for a job...

    Proof of relationshp

I understand from this thread that a letter from the sponsor is mandatory? Is that correct?

    A small inconsistency

Hi all, I realized that when I listed my employment history in the forms for International Experience Canada last year, I did not list a 3 months summer job I had when I met my girlfriend. I did not list it because it was an extra job, on top of my main occupation, and didn't think it would...

Fastest way to work in Canada after marriage

As far as I know, she should be able to apply for an open work permit along with the PR application. I'm not 100% sure though!

    Sponsor employment history

Hi everyone, I was filling up the form for the sponsor, and where it says to list the past jobs, it explicitly says to write the monthly salary. However my sponsor only had part-time jobs paid per hour, and never had a fixed monthly salary. Is it better to indicate the hourly wage? Or a rough...

    Paying RPRF in advance

Thanks Sweden, another question I had is: I my application gets denied, and I don't want to appeal the decision (or if I get denied in appeal too), could I try to apply again with a new application? I'm just trying to figure out all the possible scenarios. Thanks, Rob

    Paying RPRF in advance

So, you're saying, if I pay the fee in advance, and then they deny the application, they keep the 490 $, right?

    Paying RPRF in advance

Just wanna be sure about this. If for any reason my application get denied, they'll reimburse the full amount of the RPRF if already paid, right? Do you think it's better to pay it in advance? Or when they ask for it? What's your experience? Thanks!

    Are we common-law?

Yeah I read a few threads like that too... But I thought I was misunderstanding the type of form, cause the guideline clearly says: (they actually say it in bold) Could this turn against me if I include it? :S

    Are we common-law?

The letters are about banking stuff, so I think that's fine. I had another question about applying common-law: i was told that my gf and I should sign a statutory declaration of common-law and attach it with the application: 1. We are not referring to the "Statutory Declaration of Common-Law...

    Are we common-law?

Yeah, I do have a canadian ID and paystubs from work showing the address. Also she's the beneficiary of all my life insurance. However, all of this came obviously in April/May 2012, after I got a Work Permit. But I believe that's understandable, I guess? Also, I hate how my bank sent mail to us...

    Are we common-law?

No, because I have being living with her family. But we did get a statutory declaration from her parents saying I have been living there with her since Dec. 2011. I was told that such notarized letter would have the same importance of a tenant agreement. Is that right?

    Are we common-law?

Thanks everyone! Yeah, I have some mail received at her address and a joint bank account opened in Dec 2011. All the other additional proofs are after April 2012. Would that be enough you think? Do you think I should explain well why I have sent a working holiday application? Or they wouldn't...

    Are we common-law?

Hi everyone, I feel sort of dumb for realizing this just now that my application is almost ready, but I have realized something that the CIC might not like: When I moved to Canada in December 2011 on a visitor status, I started looking for a job. Then I went back home for 2 weeks in April 2012...
