Congrats! How long did it take in total, from submitting your application to approval today? Also, could someone please link me to a guide that explains what all of the abbreviations in the profiles are? I know a few of them but others I'm not sure about.

My wife (sponsor) just received her approval to sponsor me today :D They said my application is now being sent to Ottawa.

Re: Fees & Receipts: US outland applicants' thread :) I thought the $490 PR fee wasn't due until after you were approved? Our application didn't require it, the site mentioned something about how we'll be contacted at a later date to pay the PR fee.

I have the paperwork, but fieldprint is also an approved channeler and I already paid $48 for that process. Looking at another $28 to get them through the FBI directly. I'll probably look into that later this week, I just wish the CIC would list channelers they accept on their site and make this...

So I just realized the 0008 form I submitted is from 02/2012. I downloaded the form in June, filled it out in late July, and then submitted it on August 18th...

So we mailed our application middle of August and we still haven't seen it entered on the CIC site...is that bad? We' closing in on 1 month since we mailed it out and we live in Buffalo, NY so it shouldn't have taken more than a week or two to make it to Mississauga.
