when I got the PPR from ND, it had mentioned to pay the RPRF fees. I paid it online, took two copies of the receipt. Filled up the information in both of them. I mailed one copy of receipt to CPC-M through Canada Post I mailed another copy of receipt to the ND along with the passport.

Always prepare to be patient, esp in case of foreign travels, etc.. There is certainly a good thing in our cases...We WILL get the visa for sure. They HAVE to open all our cases (no matter when), but they should respond to each and every one of us and they will (but in their own time). So just...

From what we are seeing so far, those whose cases are straight forward with ample proofs and documentations and NO foriegn travel, they are issuing visas at about 120-150 days on average. For those with foreign travels, its taking anything above 6 months.

I can fully empathize you....I have undergone the same phase of frustration and later when I thought about it, I felt it is totally worthless to get frustrated or even feel about it. Life is much bigger than VISA issues ! All the best.

Since the standard postal delay is 10-12 days, they don't even want that to interfere. Thats why they have asked to come and pick up ! Good job ND !

It "looks" completely legitimate in her case..... We have seen cases where ND "calls" when the medicals is about to expire and the visa is ready. they even make confirmation before stamping the visa if the medical is going to expire shortly... Because they can stamp the visa only till that date...

I dont think it will change the speed of the processing, all the usual checks and balances will be intact and no change will be made to that. Application processing will go faster Only if the number of applications decreases ! But will that happen ?! May be after 10-15 years, when no one wants...
