Passport received, contains visa which is valid for 4 months. Will be on a plane to see be reunited with my wife on the 30th :) Is there anything else she needs to bring with her when we do the landing at vancouver airport?

Hey Mike, my wife sent me a picture of her new passport last night with the visa :) I didn't get a chance to talk to her as I was already fast asleep due to time difference, so I was wondering is there anything else she needs? Or is just the visa enough to cross border?

Technically, less than 4 months. We have a strong application and no red flags. Did everything up front (payment and medical, police certs etc) so that saved a few months of processing.

It went to DM with no additional line. I checked a few days later and it said sent correspondence which was the PPR.

Hi, just wait a few more days. My ECAS updated to DM before passport request. Shortly after, we received an email stating to submit passport and photos.

I don't see why that would be an issue. Any questions or concerns would have been brought up during review of your application. If you're worried, just write a letter stating why you want them to return to a different address instead. Visa Officers are people too, you can write notes to help...

I checked ecas this morning and it's showing my wife's pr status as being decision made. I'm a little worried because that seems too quick to be true. I hope they don't mark the decision made as in decision to go interview... :(

I watched a youtube video on how to order gcms notes and it says I need to upload some consent form from my wife? It's going to take weeks to mail her the documents to sign if that's the case. Can I use myself as the consent person since I'm the husband?
