That confirmation may take months. These guys are slow :( And people on this forum had all those issues before. I would recommend you not to wait and waste your time, but get and mail them what they ask. And Good Luck 8)

I would suggest to call the doctor you had the test with to ask whether he has uploaded the files. That might be his delay.

Hey Guys! I'm checking Jan and Dec applicants. It looks like things are slowing down for them too. Moreover, if you look at Feb applications' chats from 2013, you will see a lot of people got medicals in Nov, Dec and even Jan. I guess it's a usual vacation-time slow down. And hopefuly they"ll...

Thank you for the post! Interesting. Was it shown whether a senior officer had approved that 2nd step of the eligibility?? It's been long time since July...

Thank you! The only explanation I have on my mind is that PCCs were submitted after 3 months from the day of their original issue. Let's say I sent my application on Feb 18th, but the PCC was obtained on Nov 7th. And... I guess that's why they required a fresh copy.

Hi... just wondering... did you submit PCC with your original application in Feb.

It all depends. ;) 2 or 3 weeks sound not bad at all. But, I got mine exactly 1 week after. At the same time, usually people submit PCCs with their original applications. Mine just expired. That's why I have to forward them a new one

Security check is one of the final steps and it is going after Medicals. So, no worries. The same situation is for me. I got an additional PCC request a week after they sent me MR.

Have you noticed Guys... it's like a waving process. There are days and even weeks when applicants are actively getting feedbacks, as well as there are weeks of absolute silence. I checked Jan applicants chart. Just a few of them have got RPRF so far. All that happened last week, Sep 26th. And...

... and there is another questions for you Guys. I can't find any logical explanation... if you are applying from inside Canada, why do you have to send your passport to a get a PR VISA?? You are already in the country and there is no need to enter it :D ;D Do you know how it works??

Moreover Guys... if we look at how CIC explains steps in the application process, "Application Received" and "Medical Results Received" are in the same category - "In Progress" https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/redir.do?redir=app_perm_com&lang=en&app=

Thank you! The status still shows Received. But I guess a status on CIC site is more like a formality. I mean, it's obvious if people are getting medical requests their applications must be at least In Progress. What are your thoughts guys??

Your working experience may be considered starting since August 29th if there was a valid work permit. I assume in your case it could be an Off Campus Work Permit. Make sure you worked more than 30 hours per week - a border line between a part-time and a full time job. To be eligible for CEC...

Thank you! Looks like it takes some time for CIC to update the status. Hopefully it won't take long to go to the next step :)
