i applied on Nov 3rd and i didnt get any reply yet. i also have US visa refusal but i have mentioned it in the app. I am also from bangalore i assume both our applications are routed to bangalore and they take their own time to process. since we have US visa refusal i think they take lot of time...

but given all that u have background check is in progress thats a good sign. they wouldnt be doing background check with they not being satisfied about eligibility
