Please explain ur landing appointment...like the local office that was going to contact u about ur decision made mailed u ur landing date?? Cause on my letter is said the office of etobicoke will contact me to make an appointment about my decision made, so I could be waiting for that long too...

I got my owp last week...they gave me 5 years lol I dunno why they gave me so long I hope it doesn't mean a bad thing like my app gonna take forever! Lol I hope not!....and ya my remarks say the same

How do I knw if your exempt frm an interview? Do they let u knw or surprise u with a decsion made?

They starting processing the sponsor app in july and In October I got a letter stating we met all requirements to continue with the process...also in the letter said I was able to apply for my work permit

I got my work permit today!!! Finally!!! So my question is my vistor status is up in may....can I be here off a work permit and not have to apply for an extension till my work permit is up?

I filed for my OWP back in December and still haven't heard or received anything yet

I was told for inland that it's takes longer to land by an appointment at a cic office, that's it's better and faster to just cross the border and come back to land because when u make an appointment they r so backed up it'll take weeks or months before you'll get to go to the office to land.
