February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO

Order your GCMS notes. Most probably, it will say Eligibility, Criminality and Security Check - Not yet started. But doesn't hurt trying.

Ankur, you are thinking logically. Think in the most illogical fashion and you will figure out CIC's way of working. Had a trip planned to the US next weekend with friends. Just cancelled that. I salute you CIC for ruining our plans.

February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO

Are you sure the current change by CIC post- PPR (they are pre-scheduling landing interviews) instead of allowing us to land at our will is not because they want to complete a certain landing target this year? Diaboluce, appreciate your keen eye when you rightfully sniffed out the trend adopted...

February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO

For Feb- March applicants looks like they are processing applications in CIO. An April applicant confirmed that his/her GCMS notes indicate file transfer to CPC- Ottawa in early October, though s/he is yet to receive IP status.

Thanks for sharing your GCMS notes. Strangely, under History the last time my file was transferred was the same date I received my AOR. Application Status 1: 2014/04/11 (CIO), Application Status 2: 2014/04/11 (CIO), Application Status 3: 2014/03/28

Hey mfwpg: You are an April applicant, right? Can you tell me where on your GCMS notes does it say on October 3 your file was transferred to Ottawa. I am a March applicant and even a month after I turned IP (that was the date my GCMS notes were generated), I don't see any mention of CPC-Ottawa...

March - April PNP PR Batch :)

I am a 10th March applicant. I ordered my GCMS notes last month and got them on Nov 7th but they were generated on October 17th. I am a 10th March applicant. My GCMS notes says Eligibility, Criminality and Medicals all passed. Security Check- Not yet started. The last time my file was updated...

Thanks Goldbank but we all know that things are really getting murky day by day. But appreciate your positivity.

February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO

Thanks Ed_nia. I am happy that you like my posts. I have made some theories regarding why our files are being delayed: 1) Provinces have requested CIC to keep the files on hold. Like what is happening to OPNP applicants. 2) They are trying to meet their targets for FSW and CEC applications and...

February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO

Absolutely. I don't even think IP means anything these days as processing times post- IP status are so long. Was curious, has any April applicant ordered GCMS notes? I guess the fact that March signals the end of a fiscal year has something to do with this weird timeline. Maybe they want to only...

February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO

This affirms my faith that CIC and logic are poles apart. Not at all fair to Feb and March applicants who have been waiting since 3 months.

TinaCraigg: As I said logic and CIC are mutually incompatible. Logic and CIC processing don't go hand in hand.

Can't believe it. How long does CIC want us to wait. When I received my IP status in early September, I thought I will get my PPR before Halloween. Now PPR before Christmas seems like a dream. This callous and I don't care attitude of CIC is making me unduly anxious.

We share almost the same timeline. Appreciate your observation on the GCMS notes.

I believe what is delaying us is the pending security check. I don't know why security check for PNPs is taking so long. As if all hardcore criminals have applied in the months Of Feb- March 2014 that too for the PNP stream only.
