it has been update. i checkd few hours back and the person who sent his/her application on Aug 30 received AOR on Oct 07. There are few more applicants who sent their application in last week of August and received AOR in first week of October. I am hoping good news for September applicant...

you can apply for his visitor visa as you have strong reason to have him with you. there should not be a problem in getting a visitor Visa for your husband. He will be able to stay with you for 6 month and in the mean time his permanent application process will be done. He will not need to go back.

i have submitted same form in my permanent resident application and did not write any names in native language. they did not ask me to re submit it. I got my PR in May 2016 and the IMM 5406 was still same at that time. Now i have submitted my wife's application and still did not write names in...

you don't need to write name in the native language. there is no space or option to write name in native language in IMM 5406, additional family information form.

hello, can anyone tell me if the AOR 1 (application number) email goes to principal applicant's account or the sponsor"s account?

Yes it asks for country if birth as well as city/town of birth.

Do you know how long did it take them to get AOR after sending the application again? My was received on Sep 22 2017.

So, I understand that you were able to link your application without getting AOR. Is that right? what did you put in the city/village of birth?

i sent it on Sep 21 2017 and it was received Sep 22 2017.

Did you get AOR yet? And has your sponsorship been approved yet? I was thinking of doing same, just wantedto be sure this time because my file was sent back tiwice for sending few forms without signatures and second time sending old documents check list. Thank You
