I understand this to say a minor who is either without a Canadian parent, or without a parent who is concurrently applying for citizenship, can only apply on paper. Therefore, a parent who is applying for citizenship online can at the same time apply for a child online.

I'm a March 15 Online applicant and I still haven't received AOR. ‍Yet I see Paper applicants as late as Mar 9 who received AOR in April.

The last email I have from @cic.gc.ca is my payment receipt. From what I understand on this forum, even if I call them, they won't be willing or able to help me if I don't have AOR. On the tracker site it says: You need to wait for your AOR before you can create a status tracker account check...

Oh. My understanding was that the tracker could only work after you had received AOR. My bad. I'll attempt that. Thanks.

Thanks for the advice. I do indeed check my spam each time I check my email account. The thing is, when I go to the Online Application site, it still shows "Submission Confirmation" saying "This is not your acknowledgement of receipt (AOR)". The status is still "Submitted for our review".

The fact that you got AOR should indicate that everything is OK with the application, imho. Not sure why a US Visitor Visa should affect the application, or where you'd actually supply that information on the online form. I have a US Visa but did not mention it. But hey, I have received my AOR...
