Does anyone here have experience with applying for a trp (temporary resident permit)

Now my question is I am wondering where I can find temporary resident permit time line on the cic website or what the process times are for an out land application. if anyone has the source for any links that would be much appreciated thank you.

Now my question is with a temporary resident permit are you able to work in canada if you do come or must you apply for a work permit and my lawyer said you could as a temporary resident permit holder but i am reading otherwise all over the internet please help!!!!!!!! ??? ???

thank you for the responses we already went to an interview and everything went good this was in april and now it it is june the office was very nice and they said things went well and needed new medicals which was done over a month ago so i do want to know where the file stands HOW LONG DOES...

In the letter of acknowledgement it states the average processing time for the visa office is six to twelve months. It has been more then twelve months and we are still waiting what are my options now should I contact them or gscm/CAIPS notes I don't know what to do with have travel plans as...

So what now my husband did the medicals in march of 2011 it is already june and he did new medicals already now waiting for a response from immigration because of them having to wait to receive the new ones what does this mean for us?????????????????????

That is for 80% of the application that get submitted check you acknowledgement letter to see the time span of how many months applications are processed.

you are able to receive the credits, such as HST because these credits do not count as government assistance unless you make over a certain amount of funds

Now my husband recently did an immigration medical which they requested after the interview and jsut today the doctor called him requesting to do an additional test and said they would send the forms in the mail, what does this mean and is there any links or other posts you could relate here to...

Does anyone know after CIC requests to do new medicals since the old one expired how long it takes to get received to the office from the doctor or hear a response especially if the doctor is in the same country as the visa office.

Time line: Received in Paris: June 3 2011 Starting processing: March 20 Interview: April 5 2012 New Medicals: April 26 2012 Now waiting :D
