Yes, I linked the application to MyCIC. Its not closed there... Its still saying "Your action is required".

I provided the email address and received AOR email 1 day before this sratus. But the status is saying that a letter has been sent.

CIC didn't ask for the host's income (unless its a super visa) and then they reject it in the basis of this proof. Only visitor's proof of funds are required. I also got rejection once for this reason. Then I applied again from scratch with all proofs on 26th July. Now waiting for a response.

In MyCIC, the second line is still "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility". Waiting for the said letter.

I got "Decision Made" today in ECAS in sponsorship application status while PR application status is still saying "Apllication Received". The desision made is saying that they have sent a letter on 11Aug2017 to me and wait for the letter. CIC MyAccount is not showing anything. Just the same...

Received the AOR email today. Application received on 19June2017.

I have no idea about Quebec. But i think that action required in online account is something normal. Has anyone's case progressed further without taking any action?

Can anyone, who has linked his/her application to the CIC account, check in details of application; what it is saying? Mine is saying "Your action required". It should say "Submitted" only. Has anyone else noticed it?

You can try linking your application to your CIC account. Create an account if you don't have one. The link to the account is http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/account.asp What I suppose, you can link your application after it start appearing on the ECAS, but not sure. You can try.

I tried your strategy and finally got succeeded. The number of people should be total number people in application (including all dependents, if any) plus sponsor + cosigner (if any).

Got 1st line updated today in ECAS. Application received on 19 June 2017. Still unable to link application to GC account. Please update the sheet.

Thanks vsoftco, I used this ECAS system when I applied for my FSW program but then I forgot it... thanks for reminding. My parents immigratuon application was received by CIC on 19June2017. Nothing being shown on ECAS yet...

If you are not able to link the application to GC account then how did you checked the status? Can we check status somewhere else too?
