    Yes I know about the new comers offers in banks, I guess I would have to rent temporary from airbnb for the first three months and then move to something more permenant when I get my credit history done.

    I did it through a certified translator and notary. There is ICU In mohanseen they are Canadian certified notary. They can notarize your gift deed, you pay them only the fees required like 400 egp or something ....

    Anyone was able to open an account in a Canadian bank online without having to be physically present there? I am thinking that once I get the PPR issued that I would open an account, but heard different opinions.

    If you have one year to enter Canada from the day of your medical exams, so if you want to push it forward (landing that is) then delay your medicals until the furthest possible.
