Yep three weeks to answer a two sentence email. So to assess a full application? Don't know what to say.

Finally got a response to my email of three weeks ago from cairo visa office telling me they confirm they have the document I sent and that my file is still in queue to being processed by an officer!

Nothing at all, i was wondering same thing, it's as if they don't exist. I had my final decision on CIC account saying in progress other than that it's all the same. They don't respond to emails too....

I called their office in Ottawa, was on hold for like half an hour and after checking if they received my schedule A they told me they can't tell because it was transferred to local visa office in cairo. So that's how I found. I followed up with an email to the local visa office and silence!!!!!!

I applied Nov. 25 and still waiting, I know my application has been transferred to cairo visa office.

I was in a similar situation when I waited a year for OINP. I also used my funds since it took them nearly a year to get back to me. What I did when they did select me is write a letter and explained the situation. Only the difference that I managed to get required amount once again but it was...

This definitely good news since you passed the first stage, they do another eligibility check at the cairo visa office. I am in the same stage, but our beloved visa office is so slow and does not communicate whatsoever, I sent them more than one email to enquire about a document I had uploaded...
