Why would someone apply for PR, get approved and then move there 3 years later? Why even apply for PR if there is no intent to live there right away?

Congrats. That was fast like all the other Germans in the last few weeks. I applied 2013 and I think applicants from 2012 and 2013 had to wait the longest time ever.

30 days for PR through Vienna??? Who told you this? Most people in the last 3 years waited 12-18 months!!!

AOR means acknowledgment of receipt - a confirmation that they received your application. Vienna usually doesn't send AOR

Most of the people I know who went through Vienna waited at least 12 months for their visa. There are now some cases which only took 9-10 months but Vienna is the slowest VO in Europe. I hope it'll be faster in the future but from 2012-2014 Vienna was a nightmare

I stayed in Canada as a visitor after my second work permit expired. I could not extend my Alberta Health Card but my spouse was able to get me covered as his dependent. You just have to call Alberta Health Care and ask them what to do. You either have to be married, living together for 3 years...
