Yup, Same thing happened with me. The background check status changed to Not Needed at this time. I havent recieved any notifications yet.

Hi All, I have applied for my permanant residence in canada and my work permit is expiring in january. I will have to move back to India since my work permit cannot be extended anymore. Can i change my address in file so that for stamping I dont have to send my passport to Canada.

So if I am a Non LMIA approved job offer from my current employer and the funds. Can I apply under FSW instead of CEC as I have a continuous 1 year work experience and no breaks.

Hello Jainad, Thank you for the quick turnaround. I am currently on the International Exchange Program, which does not require LMIA, So No I dont have a LMIA approved job offer. I have 504 points. Can you please advise?

Hello Everyone, I received my ITA today. Its quite strange that I got an invite under FSW :o and not under CEC >:( , since I have Canadian Experience and 40 points are added to my CRS for it. I thought ::) that there is a quota for number of CEC applicants in a draw and if that is crossed...
