    Ray of hope 60th draw

I made a prediction of 427, assuming 14 day draw. Since last draw happened with a gap of 12 days, i assumed this draw wont happen within 2 weeks. How wrong was i? One thing you can be sure about cic, is its unpredictability. Now doing the same calculations for 7 days, my prediction for...

    Ray of hope 59th draw!

Hopefully, cic doesnt change nmber of ITAs or draw periods, to make scores go up, just because scores are falling to unprecedented levels. I have been following draws for the last 3 or 4 draws and cant believe the drop. Imagine those who have been following since 2016. From high 400's to 423...

Oh shoot. Does this mean no draw for next 3 weeks causing score to go up?

Go ahead and change it. Why do you want to complicate Post-ITA procedures by inviting more queries? Anyway I don't think there will be a draw today. There could be but looks very unlikely.

At least you have some way of improving your CRS. Me, i am stuck because of age and choosing not to do masters after graduation. With max for IELTS i am at 413, with no scope for improvement except pestering my wife to take IELTS, which she finally agreed to ::) .

If you had gotten 0.5 more in IELTS writing, your CRS would be 478 instead of 420. Aint that a sore?

Lot of people started reporting 1 point reduction even if they had 2 or more degrees or diplomas for their spouses, begining around January this year. Maybe it was an error in the system and is now fixed. Nothing else makes sense for points to change from 430 to 426 with age increase.

It should never have been 430 in the first place. It should have been 431. Your spouse has a post graduate diploma so it is not masters. You got 430 maybe because your spouses diploma wasn't considered and he got bachelors equivalent points only. Or did you add his diploma recently? If not, You...

My agent said 73700 ITAs will be issued this year, not sure where she got the number from. But if that is true, so far 28600 ITAs have been issued. So remaining 45100. Considering 2 draws a month, we have 17 draws remaining this year. That means 2653 ITAs per draw. Or they are giving 3.7k out by...

I am not fully sure, frankly. Check http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/eca-conversion.asp. Since the word diploma or degree doesnt appear under canadian equivalency for the 2 year course, i would be a little concerned. You could try writing to WES.

You are right. Without spouse's qualifications and IELTS if you get 67, then you are eligible. After that, in EE profile, if you select your spouse as accompanying, your CRS reduces, which is why adding spouse's qualifications/IELTS helps to improve score and therefore chances of ITA. BUT, it...

As it says in your report, it is recognized as a diploma. So, yes, you can select "two or more degrees/diploma", if you have 2 or more degrees, diplomas or certificates you can select this provided one of these is 3 years or more. Best of luck, how much does your CRS get to with this option...

We are all assuming same number of ITA's issued per draw as in the 1st quarter, ie, around 3700. Does anybody know if cic can sustain these numbers consistently through the whole year? I mean what is the number express entry is targeting for 2017, the cap.

Sitting at 413. Spouse gave IELS yesterday. Results will be out 21st April. Hoping to reach around 430. But will be missing draw if it happens on 19th, which is the expected date

    Regarding spouse and child accompanying

Yes sure. You will get entry if you get 67 points in eligibility. You only need wife's qualifications or ielts if you want to boost your CRS.
